Moisture Resistant Plasterboard Tapered Edge 12.5 x 2400 x 1200mm is a specialist plasterboard designed for use in interior areas where higher levels of humidity and occasional moisture are expected. It provides greater resistance to moisture than standard wallboard, making it a practical choice for kitchens, bathrooms, utility rooms and other humid environments.

Manufactured with a moisture-resistant gypsum core, the board helps reduce moisture absorption while providing a strong, stable surface for compatible finishing systems. It can be used as part of suitable wall, partition and lining systems in both domestic and commercial properties.

The tapered edge profile creates a shallow recess where adjoining boards meet, allowing jointing tape and compound to be applied to produce a smooth, continuous surface. This makes the board particularly suitable for tape and joint finishing systems, where a full skim coat may not be required.

At 12.5mm thick and 2400 x 1200mm in size, each full-size sheet provides excellent coverage for larger wall areas. It can be fixed to compatible timber or metal framing using suitable plasterboard fixings and installed as part of an appropriately specified dry lining system.
