Our 2 x 2" (47 x 50mm) Treated Timber, (also known traditionally as 2 by 2) is a versatile general-purpose timber suitable for a wide range of building, landscaping, joinery and DIY projects. Its practical dimensions make it an excellent choice for constructing frames, supports, battens and other timber structures around the home and garden.
The timber has been pressure treated to help protect against decay and fungal attack, improving its durability and making it suitable for many interior and exterior applications. It can be easily cut, drilled and fixed using standard woodworking tools, making it a practical material for both professional tradespeople and DIY projects.
Commonly referred to as 2x2 treated timber, this size is particularly useful where a relatively lightweight but strong timber section is required. Typical applications include garden structures, fencing projects, timber framing, supports, bracing and general construction work.
