The 1-Gang 13A Unswitched Fused Spur in White provides a neat and practical connection point for compatible fixed electrical appliances and equipment. Also commonly known as an unswitched fused connection unit (FCU), it incorporates a replaceable fuse to provide protection for the connected equipment without an integral on/off switch.
An unswitched fused spur is useful where local switching is not required at the connection point, or where control is provided elsewhere. It can be used to provide a fused connection from a suitable electrical circuit to fixed equipment and appliances, with the appropriate fuse selected according to the requirements of the connected load.
Common applications include heating equipment, alarms, controls, extractor systems and other suitable fixed electrical equipment. Its compact 1-gang format and simple white finish allow it to coordinate neatly with standard white sockets, switches and other electrical accessories.
Suitable for new installations, renovations and replacement work, this 13A unswitched fused connection unit provides a straightforward solution where a permanently connected and appropriately fused electrical supply is required.
